Bamfield is truly a unique community. Divided by an inlet into east and west, Bamfield is the only town in BC with a waterway for a “Main Street.” Along the shore of West Bamfield is the Boardwalk, a wooden walkway that hugs the shoreline and connects local residents and businesses to the two government docks.
Bamfield is known for some of the best fishing on the West Coast. As well as fishing, there’s Pacific Rim National Park which offers superb kayaking and diving opportunities, the amazing West Coast Trail which begins just outside of Bamfield, The Coast Gaurd and RHIOT School, A General Store, Post Office, Bistro, B&B's, Lodges, Breathtaking Brady’s Beach and much more.
